Itinerary
Kashmir offers a magical experience throughout the year. Spring brings a riot of colors with blooming tulips, while summer showcases lush greenery and pleasant weather. Autumn turns the valley golden with Chinar trees, and winter blankets the region in snow, transforming it into a wonderland. No matter the season, Kashmir promises an enchanting escape that stays with you forever.
Upon your arrival in Jammu, our cab driver will pick you up from the railway station or airport and transfer you to your hotel. Check in and relax after your journey. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring nearby attractions if you wish. Stay overnight at the hotel for a comfortable and restful night.
After breakfast leave for Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the Gondola lift (by your own payment). Return to Srinagar in the evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold’ Sonamarg. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at Sonamarg car stand. To reach the glaciers, youcan hire ponies by your own payment basis.
Day 4: Srinagar - Pahalgam Sightseeing (102 KM / Approx. 03-4 Hours Drive)
Early in the morning check-out from hotel and leave for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers good view. In Evening we drive to Pahalgam for night stay at Hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, proceed for a comfortable transfer to Katra, the gateway to the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Enjoy the scenic drive through picturesque landscapes before checking into your hotel upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the local markets at your own pace. Enjoy a restful overnight stay at the hotel, preparing for the spiritual journey ahead.
Today Morning after breakfast drive to Banganga. our cab will drop you at Banganga. (Further journey for Vaishno Devi at your own basis).start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan. Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (14 kms), ponies can also be arranged by self {at your own cost} for the trek, return back to Katra late in evening/night, Overnight stay at hotel in Katra.

FAQs
Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will too, you can.
On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.
The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.
Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.
No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.
Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.
Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.
It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.
For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
